Hi, I’m Kathe'rine.
At Sparrows of Hope, we believe in the power of a simple gift—a blanket. For a survivor of sexual assault, it’s so much more than fabric; it’s a symbol of warmth, safety, and hope. Each blanket we offer comes beautifully packaged in a box, complete with a greeting card filled with words of encouragement and love. It’s a reminder that no one has to walk through their journey alone.
Inspired by the words of Luke 12:6:
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God."
Just as God cares for every sparrow, He cares deeply for every survivor. Even in their darkest moments, they are never forgotten. Sparrows of Hope was created to reflect that divine love and compassion, offering survivors the comfort of knowing they are seen, valued, and cared for.

We envision a world where every survivor feels embraced by love, supported on their path to healing, and empowered to reclaim their life.
By offering something as simple as a blanket, we send a message of compassion:

Our Impact So Far
We’ve already been able to send more than 20 blankets to survivors in Oklahoma and Ohio, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of people like you. But our journey is just beginning, and there are so many more survivors who need to feel seen and cared for.
As we work toward becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are determined to expand our reach and send blankets of hope to even more survivors across the country. Your support will make this possible.
How You Can Make a Difference
With your help, we can provide comfort, warmth, and hope to survivors who need it most. Here’s how your donation can make a difference:
$6 provides one blanket to a survivor, wrapped in love and compassion, and delivered in a box with a greeting card to offer encouragement and support.
$20 covers the cost of one blanket and shipping, so it can reach a survivor who needs it.
$50 helps us send blankets to several survivors, along with heartfelt encouragement cards to remind them they are loved.
$100 allows us to send multiple blankets, reaching more survivors with warmth and hope.
