A Message of Comfort: You Were Protected from the Start

In life, we often find ourselves grieving the things we didn’t have—the ideal parents, the perfect upbringing, or the life we dreamed of. We look back at school, feeling the sting of judgment for not having the right clothes, the right background, or the right things. As we grow older, we realize that the judgments don’t always end, but the pain can still feel just as sharp.

But here’s the truth: no matter how imperfect your past may feel, the fact that you’re here today means you were still protected. You were born. Life didn’t pass you by. It may not have been the perfect environment or the comfort you needed, but you were still wrapped in protection from the very beginning. Just like a newborn swaddled in a hospital blanket, even when parents can’t be there, someone is always watching over you.

Even if you didn’t feel the comfort you wanted, know this: you were protected and cared for from the moment you were born. Your journey might have been difficult, but that doesn’t change the fact that you are still standing.

Healing doesn’t have to be a perfect journey, and life doesn’t always make sense. But as long as you have two feet on the ground, you can keep walking. Each step forward is a reminder that you are stronger than you know, and nothing can take away the fact that you were meant to be here.

You are still protected. You are still worthy. And you are still moving  forward.
